Hypnosis is a natural state of deep physical and mental relaxation. Hypnosis is a perfectly natural and
something we all do on regularly.
Whilst in this state the sub-conscious and unconscious minds become receptive to positive messages through
visualisations.
Hypnotherapy is NOT stage hypnotism - in hypnotherapy you are in complete control at all times and never do
or reveal anything against your will.
You can come out of the hypnotic state at any time and are conscious throughout the session.
We all experience hypnosis on a daily basis without realising it. When in front of a TV and someone asks
"What are you watching?" and you have to think for a while, or you may even be so deep that you have no idea! -
that's the state we are getting to, so that the subconscious gets to hear some new ways of dealing with life's
little idiosyncrasies..
Hypnotherapy is a very effective way of overcoming blockages, psychological issues, and physical conditions,
even some chronic illnesses have been treated. It has long been recognised by the British Medical Association as an effective clinical tool.
If you want to change habits, feelings or behaviours that are no longer wanted or are holding you back from
achieving their goals, then hypnotherapy will almost certainly help. It is a form of psychological therapy which is used to achieve beneficial change. Hypnotherapy is nothing like stage hypnotism. I do not use any triggers to make you cluck like a chicken when the phone rings - that's good TV, not good hypnotherapy.
